One notable achievement is the establishment of Ayushman Bharat, the world’s largest healthcare program, which provides top-quality and affordable healthcare to over 50 crore Indians, especially targeting the poor and neo-middle class. The prestigious health journal, The Lancet, has commended Ayushman Bharat, highlighting its role in addressing longstanding issues within India’s healthcare sector and advancing the goal of universal health coverage.
